Tomorrow is my birthday(12.01). But for some reason, this time, I'm not pumped up as usual. I have less adrenaline than I usually do.
I remember my last birthday being very nostalgic. Why? There a lot of reasons.
I went to a Thai restaurant called Yum Yum and for some reason, I thought they spoke Mandarin Chinese there(because I never knew it was a Thai restaurant, I thought it was a central Asian restaurant). I also had a lot of fun learning the Mandarin language too, before I went.
Another thing, I remember getting two t-shirts where one looked a little decayed and had the Flash logo on it, and there was another one I received that had the elements Ba, Zn and Ga. I also got a bunch of long-sleeved shirts. Haha, do you see the theme? lmao(ok calm down it's not that funny). Yup, I got to dress up as the two t-shirt kid.
I also remember that a little before going to Yum Yum, I went to a trampolining place called Gravity. I have to say, the guys and gals who run that place really make bouncing a lot more fun than it actually seems.
I remember when I was recording myself with my brother just before it became my birthday. This was when staying up until midnight was a very cool thing and something only adults could do with their amazing free will, but it looks like I've proved that wrong, with my terrible sleep schedule. Right after my brother left the room, I have made another video to myself sharing my progress in my Japanese, showing my notes and everything.
Wait, but I thought I was learning Chinese. Look, yeah. It was a very complicating time. I couldn't make my mind up.
Then what's going on this year, especially when CoViD ruined everything? :
I have made a song for my birthday. It'll probably be the last OMFG style song I'll make in a while, especially since I am already making a house song. In the birthday song, I have finally tried using a different lead to make the song less boring. Behold...
What I've done is I have made a saw with the TripleOscilator, made my melody, sent it to my phone(by Gmailing myself) and then I have played it next to my mouth, while making vowel and consonant shapes with my mouth.
But anyway, the next thing I am planning is to try and make my birthday somewhat nostalgic, like my last one. How? I don't know. But I'll try my best.
Another thing, how tf is this formal???
Thank you for reading! :p

Honestly, I'm so frigging glad that SMB Forever is out! I thought that December 23rd was just gonna be another fake release date but nope, it was the day that the game finally came out. The game has actually been in the works for six years. I only heard about the sequel in late 2017. Boy, was I hyped...
I actually kept having dreams about the SMB sequel(let's not forget about GD 2.2 as well).
Enough about the intro and more about the real story.
For some reason, when the game finally released, I wasn't as hyped as I thought I would be. On 26th December(aka. boxing day), that is when my dad bought the game for me, on Epic Games. I was pretty excited to play the game. If the game has been in the works for 6 years, you know it's gonna be good. And was I right? Yep, I was.
But wait! I encountered another problem. My storage space was nearly coming to its end. Therefore, my game was running very slow. So I had to waste my time, getting rid of stuff I don't need anymore. Boy, I had a lot.
After deleting lots of stuff, I checked the amount of space I had on my local disc. It was finally blue, but the game was still running slow. I got rid of a bit more then eventually, my patience ran thin. I just played the game.
Here is my real opinion on the game:
I think it's nice that the developers changed the gameplay of the game. It feels different and I like it. You can punch, you can slide and you can even dash in the air as well! Personally, I prefer the gameplay of the first game more but it won't kill me if the developers are gonna experiment with the choice of it. I like auto runners a lot. Another interesting feature about the gameplay is that the levels are auto-generated, meaning the levels are created by themselves and you can't get anything like a walkthrough because everyone's levels will be different. That's such an incredible feature! :o
Gameplay Rating: 7/10
Moving on to design...
Honestly, I've never seen anything like it before. In the first game, the graphics were especially basic and they had very little detail. Don't get me wrong, I liked the graphics in the first one but they were very basic compared to the graphics we now have in the sequel. In SMB Forever, the quality of the graphics, the shading, just everything was splendid and it was all a beauty(sorry if this word seems a little strange) to look at. The cutscenes were splendid! I think it's nice that the shape of the sprites are a little more round too. I can also see that more gradients are being used in the artwork, I love that.
Design Rating: 8/10
I haven't listened to too much of the soundtrack because I've just got to the second chapter but what I can say is that it is really nice to listen to. I think compared to the other soundtracks for games Ridiculon have made in the past, this is my least favourite selection of soundtracks from them but don't get me wrong, they are nice to listen to. I can't really judge the theory of the track and everything like that because my area of knowledge in EDM is better than my area of knowledge in guitar. Forgive me.
Soundtrack Rating: 6/10
Overall game rating: 9/10
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading this. Are my news posts too detailed? Do they have very little detail? Are they interesting enough? Let me know! I'll see you guys soon! Have a nice day! :p

I had Osu downloaded several weeks ago but I never had time to play it because I was going to upload my first video on my YouTube channel, which I had the didn't have the motivation to continue. I sounded very boring and I was also trying to find a decent video editing software. But anyway, enough about my YouTube channel progress.
So, I opened up Osu when I finally had the time and played for a little. Boy, you should've seen me play. I was terrible at first. I couldn't even beat one map apart from the New Beginnings one, which was extremely boring and was only just a tutorial.
I continued practising Peer Gynt for a while until I came across this other map. I forgot its name. I think it was something like "Dai*tai". I don't know. Unlike the other maps, this was pretty easy. It wasn't too easy but it wasn't too hard. I liked this map and I never got bored from losing.
At some point, I finally beat it. Man, I was pretty shocked. I tried Peer Gynt again and this time, I made some decent progress. Later on, I finally beat it. The look on my face, you should've seen it. Beating these maps to me were big accomplishments.
Next, I tried All In All, another map I thought was gonna take a while for me to beat. I completed the map. Yay!
I flew through the maps pretty quickly. There were a few more. One of the most memorable ones I played was Aurora. I took footage of beating that when recording. I also remember the cringy reaction that came with it when I finally beat it.
Later on, I came across this new gameplay called Taiko. When I was playing, I never realised that when a blue circle came, I was supposed to right-click. I realised that by just mucking around with the mouse until I finally made the dog-thingy happy by clicking the blue circle.
Then I played Bwa by Thaehan(I think that's how I spell his name). This level introduced me to the Catch gameplay. I remember Partition Zion making a video about the Catch gameplay in Osu. The Catch gameplay was pretty easy and I got the hang of it very quickly. Eventually, I became bored with the Catch gameplay.
A few more levels later and I finally beat every 1-star map! Hell yeah! ;D
2-star levels really became a notch harder by a lot.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this and I'll see you guys soon! :p

I might upload my previous songs(the ones that are decent, not the scrap ones, don't worry) I made on LMMS. They might be terrible, I dunno. Let me know what I should do. Should I just worry about my future projects? Should I upload my previous songs? Both? Ye, I just wanna see what you guys think...
