I'm thinking of refraining from using LMMS so don't expect very much music from me.

I'm gonna try and get a part-time job to earn some money. I don't even know if I can do that, thanks to CoronaVirusDisease19. I wanna buy FL Studio.

LMMS has cheap plugins ;-;

I might come back to LMMS either if I'm bored or if I actually have professional plugins and VSTs.

hmmm i feel like the problem here is that your music really sticks to the same rhythm and that rhythm only.... have you tried utilizing the step option in your daw which lets you set notes out of that rhythm? would probably help you big time in having some variation in the rhythm

if you still consider to buy fl studio however, you can try working remote to get some money rolling. try doing some dumb jobs anyone can do on the internet? (or ironically do more music as commissions for others there) ur parents can fund you a bit to buy it too. (like mine did xD)

take that hiatus if you don't feel like making anything tho, no good if you're forcing yourself to make music (or most stuff in that matter) ;)) it's okay if ur not releasing music, at least to me....

I've never heard of the step option but I have briefly looked at it. I'm not necessarily bothered about the rhythm, more about the quality of the sounds I'm using.

In case you're wondering, I've tried making a swing feel in my hip-hop or OMFG style songs recently(1/32 notes) otherwise I usually stuck to the default snapping grid(1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 notes).

When you mean remote job, do you mean something like working on Fiverr? If so, I might start that up again. I will try to get into music commissions if I can earn money from them.

If there is no lockdown coming, I will try to get a part-time job at my uncle's cafe(that's if there is room for new workers).

Getting FL Studio won't be the end of my desires because I also want to buy Sylenth1 and Serum presets.

I don't want my mom and dad to buy the things I have just listed for me because I wanna make the effort myself and want to have worked hard for it.

Anyway, thank you for the advice! :)
